SiteReset is a Chrome extension that deletes cookies and optional site data when you leave a site. This page is the policy we submit to the Chrome Web Store.
The extension does not include analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or other telemetry. It does not send your browsing history, cookies, or page contents to us.
Keep-list and Grey-list settings, delay preferences, and an optional license key are stored in Chrome’s local (and, if you unlock Pro, sync) storage on your profile. Cookie and site-data deletion uses Chrome APIs on your device.
SiteReset requests cookies, tabs, browsingData, storage, alarms, and access to http/https sites so it can see which sites still have open tabs and delete that site’s cookies when the last tab closes. Those permissions are not used to upload data.
If you buy Pro ($19 lifetime or $3/month), checkout is handled by Stripe. We do not see your full card number. A license key may be stored locally to unlock Keep-list sync and extra cleanup presets. The free cleaner works without an account.
SiteReset is not directed at children under 13.
If this policy changes in a material way, we will update this page and the date above.
